Cash Cards for Calaca City’s Registered Rice Farmers

The agricultural sector in Calaca has enormous potential for progress and development. Mayor Nas Ona, the first city mayor of Calaca, has always emphasized that this sector will not be left behind as the city continues to advance.
In collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Ms. Alicia Cabrera leads the City Agriculture Office which has distributed cash cards to the initial batch of 145 registered rice farmers. These cards provide financial assistance for their rice farming, and over 600 registered farmers are expected to receive the same assistance this year.
The City Government of Calaca encourages farmers to register at the City Agriculture Office and become partners in promoting the agricultural sector in the city. Their aim is to further develop the agricultural sector in Calaca. Programs for the sector’s progress are limitless. Mayor Nas Ona’s goal is to ensure that as the city progresses, its agricultural sector will also continue to grow to guarantee food security for all Calacazens.
