In its fifth year of implementation, the NASA BILIS program of the City Government of Calaca assures that fast and efficient delivery of services is given to every Calacazen. The goal of this program is to streamline and simplify the process of obtaining business permits by providing a venue where business-owners can complete all necessary requirements in a centralized setting.

The application process and renewal of business permits continue to improve through systems innovation and this January, most of the applications were done online, as well as payments. Over the years, the Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) continuously improves its services and the full implementation of the online process will be expected soon.

“The NASA Bilis Program aims to provide fast and reliable system and process in terms of business application and renewal in the City of Calaca. Part of the initiative of said program, our office, BPLO, holds regular orientations with business owners in barangays to further familiarize them with the EBOSS,” Ms. May G. Ontangco, Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), said.

For an organized application process, each barangay was assigned its own schedule which was announced through the City Government of Calaca’s official social media platforms. To avoid delays and overlaps in said application, all business-owners are encouraged to strictly follow their assigned dates.

The City Government of Calaca aims to improve the process every year and there are more to expect for the coming years so its partners in business can experience the hassle-free and convenient electronic BOSS.
