Public service is second nature to Hon. Rosalie “Rose” Manalo Salazar. For 11 years, she had been part of the Local Government Unit of Calaca, starting in 2013 until 2024. Throughout her tenure, her unwavering dedication, commitment, intellectual prowess, and positive disposition were consistently evident, leading to the bestowal of committee memberships and secretariat responsibilities—essential roles that significantly contributed to the efficient administrative organization of the LGU.

When she decided to continue a legacy of “Gawang may Puso”, it was in the true essence of her maxim that drew people to her. Her inherent positivity, warmth, and gleeful personality are just some of the qualities that made a mark on people’s perception of her which showed when she chose a path that would greatly benefit the people of Calaca.
