The NASA PUSO program facilitated by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) implements Kumustahan NASA Barangay which continuously offers different services to every Calacazen. In the first month of the year, nine (9) barangays have already been visited by the CSWDO under the supervision of Mrs. Maharani Babasa.

They brought the following services to the barangay:

• Registration and validation of different sectoral groups such as PWD, Senior Citizen, Kababaihan, Solo Parent, LGBT, Erpat, OSY and OFW.
• Registration and Renewal of Orange Card.
• Community Tax Certificate issuance.

The program is annually conducted by the CSWDO where all Focal Persons of each sector, together with the Barangay Officials, volunteers and functionaries conduct validation of the sectoral PPAs. The program also includes orientation on different laws, programs and services being conceptualized  by the local government. At the same time, monitoring of all Child Development Centers in the City of Calaca is done in order to ensure that every institution, especially the implementation of Supplementary Feeding Program is delivered to the students. The application and updating of Orange Card are also conducted, in coordination with the City Treasurer’s Office, wherein every resident of the barangay can apply.

With the NASA PUSO, every Calacazen is given the chance to be part of these engaging programs of the City Government of Calaca which aids the economy to prosper through time.
