9. REGISTRY SYSTEM FOR BASIC SECTOR IN AGRICULTURE (RSBSA) FARMERS REGISTRATION

The City Agriculture Office plays a pivotal role in facilitating the registration of local farmers and fisherfolks in the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA). This national registry is a fundamental requirement for accessing a wide range of agricultural services, both locally and nationally. By ensuring the inclusion of local farmers and fisherfolks in the RSBSA, the City Agriculture Office enables them to avail various government programs, subsidies, and assistance designed to support the agricultural sector. The registration process is crucial as it provides the government with accurate and up-to-date data on the agricultural workforce, which is essential for planning and implementing effective policies and programs that address the specific needs and challenges of the agricultural community. This initiative demonstrates the office's commitment to enhancing the welfare and productivity of the local agricultural sector through streamlined access to vital resources and support systems.
