The City Budget Office is mandated to provide technical assistance to the Local Government Unit with regards to budget matters. Responsible for the implementation of the appropriation ordinance in accordance with the existing rules and regulations pertaining to it and to have an outcome of a responsive budgeting services within the city government.

A Local Government Unit working in a participative, policy-based budgeting that is responsive to administration sectoral development goal.
Mission
Ensure compliance of Section 305 (i) of R.A 7160 in allocating available/limited resources and the observance of budgetary requirements, rules and regulations in the preparation and implementation of Executive Budget.
List of Services and Programs
- Assist the Local Chief Executive in the preparation of one executive budget based on the consolidated budget proposals from different departments/offices, reviewed as to consistency by the Sangguniang Panlungsod and approved by the LCE.
- Assist the Local Chief Executive in the preparation and finalization of the Supplemental/Realignment/Augmentation of the Budget in case the appropriated budget is not sufficient or need changes for delivering services to the constituents.
- Review, evaluate and approve Obligation Request of various departments/offices within budget appropriations in General and Special Education Fund.
- Prepare, update and submit Statement of Appropriations, Allotment and Obligations (SAAO) and Registry of Allotment of Obligations (RAO) subject for Commision on Audit (COA) review and evaluation
- Assist and review the forty (40) Barangays and Sangguniang Kabataan annual/supplemental/ realignment budget in accordance with existing rules and regulations and make an endorsement letter with the Finance Committee to Sangguniang Panlungsod for their comments and approval.
- As a Finance Committee member, coordinate with the team on budget matters, appropriate tax and other revenue measures based on the economic conditions and existing guidelines.
- Support concerned department/office pertaining to their budget matters as compliance report to national, regional, provincial and other related agencies.

Biography
A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, she became a government servant in November 2004 and was assigned to the Municipal Budget Office up to date. She lives by faith with a bible verse, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and don’t rely on your understanding, in all thy ways acknowledged HIM and HE will direct thy path.”
