The Office of the City Administrator serves as the City Mayor’s primary advisor, devising plans and strategies for effective and efficient management of administration-related programs and projects of the City Government. This Office leads in the supervision, overseeing and monitoring of all programs, projects and activities implemented by the City Government. This Office coordinates with the City Departments/Offices and National Government Agencies relative to implementation of programs, projects and activities. Recommends to the Sangguniang Panlungsod and advices the City Mayor on all matters relative to the management and administration of the City.

The Office of the City Administrator also serves as partner of the City Human Resource and Management Office in maintaining sound personnel program for the City Government designed to promote career development and uphold the merit principle in the local government service.

This Office ensures compliance to relevant directives of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Commission on Audit (COA) through coordination with the concerned offices ensuring good governance and transparency within the City Government.

The Office of the City Administrator serves as linkage of the City Government with the barangays and other stakeholders to ensure success of programs, projects, and activities for the Calacazens.

CITY ADMINISTRATOR

Biography

A well-acclaimed educator for forty-one years, she started as a Teacher I in 1992, assumed several positions, and became a Principal IV in 2011 until 2018. After her retirement from being a school head, she dedicated her service for the Calacazens as an Executive Assistant and now as City Administrator. Ms. Perez has a Master’s and Doctoral degree in Administration and Supervision. She is also a recipient of several awards that acknowledge her achievements in her discipline – Outstanding Brigada Eskwela Implementer, Outstanding School-Based Management Implementer, Most Outstanding Teacher, Outstanding Principal, Outstanding Women/Achiever of the Year to name a few.
