The City Information Office is the public information arm of the City Government of Calaca. It provides technical assistance to the City Mayor and all the departments of the City Government, promotes awareness on the development of the City and to inform the Calacazens of the government’s initiatives, thrusts and services through all forms of media.

Vision

The City Information Office envisions itself to create a well-informed community through proper dissemination of reliable and timely information towards the achievement of a productive and progressive city.

Mission

To ensure proper information dissemination of the basic social services and vital advocacy campaigns of the City Government of Calaca.
To pursue an effective liaison to all city departments, local government units, government agencies, NGOs and various sectors.
To maximize the use and potential of all forms of media for the welfare and interest of the City of Calaca and its citizenry.
To harness the skills and work ethics of its staff that works harmoniously with the Local Executive and other officials of the City Government.

Biography

An alumna of the University of the Philippines Diliman with a degree in Community Development, work experience—both from the private and public sectors—and trainings ranging from administrative, social, and organizational both here and abroad, Ms. Salazar is well-equipped with skills that are necessary to engage public into prompt and accurate information. She leads the City PIO since being appointed in 2021.
